In collaboration with Asians for Collective Liberation, this year’s featured artworks for Asian American Heritage Month were produced using risograph printing, a Japanese-born printmaking and duplication method. The three-piece series pairs flora native to Asia with historic Spokane bridges; bridge photographs were provided by the Spokane Public Library. This month’s theme, “Be the Bridge,” invites collaboration, connection, and community.

Each year ACL spotlights an Asian artist in the Inland Northwest to create the promotional materials for Asian American Heritage Month.
