Since 2018, Spokane Zine Fest has been a one-day public event in downtown Spokane celebrating zines, small press, and local art.

The 2026 artwork draws on archival photographs of downtown Spokane and lilac imagery that nods to the city’s “Lilac City” nickname. A classical script font paired with a bold sans serif creates a balance that both complements the artwork and echoes the gritty, DIY spirit of zine culture.
